Luxipew started this journey exactly one year ago, with a very simple wish: to make shirts that can “speak” for you – about love, about connection, and about those special moments you want to keep forever.

The brand was founded by Laura, and from the very beginning, Luxipew chose the direct-to-customer – flexible production model. Not because it’s trendy, but because Luxipew believes only when handling the whole process from materials to final product can we be sure of the quality, cut out the extra costs, and answer the customer’s needs as fast as possible.

Business model – Direct to customer, flexible production

Luxipew only sells through the official website. No dealers, no e-commerce platforms. The reason is simple: when Luxipew cuts out every gap between the workshop and you, all the time and effort can go into the product, instead of adjusting to someone else’s rules.

The whole production process stays inside Luxipew. Fabrics are bought directly from three trusted US suppliers, with clear origins and stable quality. Then the materials go straight to Luxipew’s own workshop in Abilene, Texas – a small 50m² space, not big, but enough to run every step from start to finish.

Inside the workshop, there are 6 industrial sewing machines, 2 screen printing machines, 1 DTG printer, and heat press tools. Every shirt made here passes through the team’s hands – never through a mass outsourcing line.

Luxipew always keeps a stock of ready-made products to ship quickly. On average, about 500–600 shirts from the latest collection are finished and stored every month, ready to go as soon as an order comes in.

But if you want something just for you, Luxipew does that too. From printing your own design, changing small details, to making it in your exact size – all done right here in the same workshop, by the same team who made the originals.

The customers vary, but most are young people between 20–35 who love minimal, comfortable styles, but still want to keep their own mark. Friend groups order matching shirts, couples get special gifts, and teams want unique uniforms – and they find in Luxipew a place to turn their ideas into reality.

Main products – T-shirts & Sweatshirts

Most of what Luxipew makes comes down to two things: T-shirts and sweatshirts. Ready to ship, but always room for custom orders.

For T-shirts, the fabric is usually natural cotton or a cotton blend – most often about 50% cotton – 50% polyester. This way, the shirts stay soft and breathable like cotton, but hold color better and wrinkle less. Fabric weight goes from 180 GSM for light tees to 320 GSM for heavy sweatshirts. Before cutting and sewing, the fabric is treated to reduce shrinkage, avoid pilling, and keep the color longer. If you wash them right – cold water, flat dry, no hot tumble – they keep their shape even after dozens of washes.

Fabrics come from clear sources. Cotton is from Bayside Apparel & Textiles (California, US) – known for strong fibers, low pilling, and even colors. Fleece is from American Fleece Mills (North Carolina, US), with stable weight and a soft stretch that prints beautifully. Luxipew chose them simply because their materials work well for both big batches and small custom runs, so there’s no worry about one batch printing great and the next one not.

Before a new design appears on the website, Luxipew approves it in two steps. First is a test print to check color, sharpness, and how the ink sits on the fabric. Then comes the fit test – wearing, washing, and seeing how the material reacts. Only when it feels right does Luxipew start producing more.

Production process & Quality control – Doing it carefully from the start

The story begins when fabric arrives at the workshop. Luxipew checks GSM to make sure the weight is right, tests shrinkage by washing a small piece, and compares the color to the last batch to keep things consistent. Small steps, but skip them and you’ll see the difference.

When sewing, the team follows the standard fit. Shoulders and sleeves are double-stitched for strength, and edges are finished neatly so they don’t feel bulky. Loose threads are trimmed before moving to printing.

For printing, Luxipew uses screen printing for solid colors or big orders – bright colors and long-lasting prints. For multi-color or detailed designs, DTG printing makes sure details and gradients come out right.

Before packing, each shirt is checked by hand in three areas: stitching, print quality, and sizing. If there’s a fault – even a small one – the customer gets a replacement or a full refund within 7 days.

Ready-made items in the US usually deliver in 5–6 business days. Custom orders take about 1–2 days to make before shipping, then the same delivery time as ready ones.

Business operations

Luxipew is a small team of 6 people, each with a clear role. One designer, two sewers, one printing operator, one quality controller, and one full-time customer service person.

When a big or urgent order comes in, everyone jumps in. The sewers can help with printing, the QC person can help pack – whatever it takes to get the order out fast while keeping the quality the same.
